My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazzy is a remarkable little mill survivor. She is ready for that special home where her family is understanding of mill pups. No need for dentals, Jazzy lost all of her teeth due to poor diet and vetting while in the mill.  Her tiny pink tongue tends to hang out the side of her mouth but will disappear when she is using her little alien voice telling you she's hungry.

Jazzy gets very excited at meal time and voices her dismay if she isn't the first to be fed.  A tiny gruffled voice comes out with a surge of alien sounds.

Jazzy would do perfect in a home with no other pups or with a small companion. She is very independent now and serves as a tiny leader. She will do best in a quiet home with no young children as she is small and could possibly get stepped on, her small frame is very fragile.

Jazzy was rescued from a puppy mill in California.  She came into our rescue on March 9th, 2015 via ground transport with her best friend, Ally.

Jazzy is completely vetted, spay, dental (she only has one tooth left in her mouth), UTD on all of her vaccinations and is microchipped.

Jazzy is quite timid yet she allows her foster mom to pick her up.  Once she is on a lap, she settles and will fall asleep.  She was stuck in a mill for 6 years being forced to breed litter after litter.  It will take her time to  get used to being in a home where she has free run of the house.

Jazzy has shown no interest in toys nor have we seen her play.  She is at Ally's side at all times.

Jazzy is potty trained and will potty on a pee pad in the house.  We are working on leash training as she loves being outside exploring.  She will need to be in a home with another smaller well mannered pup and no children under the age of 12.

Jazzy will tend to bolt if left unattended.  She will need a fenced in yard and someone to go outside with her.  She should never be left alone.

Jazzy does not bark, she is very quiet yet very inquisitive.  She follows me everywhere and watches every move I make.

Jazzy will need a grain free diet, we have been feeding her Blue Buffalo canned.
