My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Rip, the solo superstar of the feline world, ready to steal your heart and your treats! You see, I'm like a lone wolf in a fur coat, preferring to be the one and only cat in the spotlight. Now, let's talk about my love for peace and quiet. Sudden movements? No thank you! They send shivers down my spine faster than a catnip-induced frenzy. Give me a calm environment any day, and I'll be one happy kitty. But don't mistake my preference for tranquility for a lack of fun—I've got a playful side too! Wand toys, red lights, and crinkly paper are just a few of my favorite things. Treat time, though? That's the highlight of my day! I'll come running faster than you can say 'meow' for a tasty snack. When it's time to catch some Z's, you'll often find me curled up at the foot of the bed or nestled in the clothes basket—I'm all about finding the coziest spot in the house. And let's not forget my love for birdwatching. Give me a window seat, and I'll spend hours admiring those feathered friends outside. So, if you're in need of a laid-back, treat-loving, window-watching companion, look no further than Rip. With me around, every day is a purr-fect blend of relaxation and playtime!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
