My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dragoon here! I'm the purr-fect combination of sweetness and mischief! I may have started life as a bottle baby, but I've grown into a confident and affectionate feline who's never short on personality. I am the ultimate lap sitter and bed sleeper, with a knack for finding the coziest spots in the house and claiming them as my own. Whether I'm curled up in your arms or stretched out on your pillow, my warm purrs and gentle demeanor make me the ultimate cuddle companion. But don't be fooled by my sweet exterior – I am also a master of mischief, with a love for water and a penchant for getting into anything and everything I can find. From batting at dripping faucets to splashing in my water bowl, I am always finding new ways to make a splash. With my playful spirit and unwavering affection, I'm sure to steal your heart – and maybe a few drops of water along the way! So if you're looking for a furry friend who's equal parts sweet and mischievous, look no further than Dragoon – the cat who's always ready to make a splash in your life!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
