My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $300.00

Kingsley is about a year old boy who came into a local shelter as a stray.  He is on the smaller side, and weights about 50 pounds.  He is full of energy and is very happy to run and play all day long.  He gets along with all the dogs in his foster home, but can be a little pesty when they are ready for a play break, and he is still full of energy.  He has a rough and tumble play style, so a dog with a similar style would be a good companion for him.

Kingsley came into rescue with a dislocated hip, and has recently had surgery to repair it.  This does not stop him from having the best run, or game of chase with the other dogs.

Kingsley is a very happy boy and can get excited easily.  When excited he can be a little mouthy, so a home without young children would be best.  Cats and small animals would likely not be good in his forever home.

Kingsley is crate trained and sleeps in one in his foster home.  He settles quickly and is fairly quiet while in his crate.  He rides well in the car and walks fairly well on leash.  Kingsley has a good recall, and doesn't want to stray too far from his person.

He is looking for a home that is fairly active, with another playful dog.

This is a level 2 dog.
