My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griffin and Reynolds love each other but at adoption events they get stressed, hissing at each other and cannot be in the same cage. No one sees how sweet they are together so they don't get adopted or even met.

They love playing and cuddling with each other when they aren't on their fosters lap or sitting next to her while she works on her computer. They do love people, are great with children.

Neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, flea protected and microchipped. Please consider these lovebugs for your home as a pair, they can be separated if you have a your playful cat, they are kittens and have kitten energy..

Please apply at www.Southerncountiesrescue.org and complete an adoption questionnaire to meet these great guys!

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
