Tigger the 3rd I swear I thought they were spaghetti noodles! But after the doctor had to perform surgery to remove the 13 hair elastics, I now realize they didn`t taste all that delicious. I am almost 5-years-old and was adopted and returned because my owner couldn`t afford my surgery bill. I`ve been around the block a few times and know it may take a while to find the right forever home. I will require an owner who keeps hair ties, rubber bands, and other wiggly items out of my reach. You may wonder how I got my name. Well, when I was at the HSHC before, there happened to be two other cats named Tigger. No biggie, you can call me just Tigger. I`ve been hanging out in the Roaming Room with three other cats, and since I have lived with cats and a dog before, we get along pretty well. One of these cats looks so much like me that you might mix us up. We both have four white feet and an attractive brown Tabby coat with white on our necks and bellies. The difference is I have heavy-duty beige eyeliner around my eyes and nose. I`m also older than the other guy. I`ve been neutered and use my litterbox like a champ. The interviewer lady nearly stood on her head to get me to come out of my hidey-hole. But though I enjoyed being petted by her, I was WAY too comfy to get out of bed. I love talking, sitting on laps, and eating my chow fast, so I may need a slow-down bowl. I`ll be waiting in Roaming Room 2 for you to come and get me! 6-21-23

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
