Henley is a neutered one year old Cocker Spaniel/Beagle mix who weighs about 30 pounds. This sweet soul has only known life in a kennel so living inside is new to him. He shared a kennel with his brother when it was cold and both would snuggle up with feral cats. He is getting along with the other dogs in his foster home and is too timid to pay much attention to the resident cat. He enjoys kids, is shy to approach, but is very receptive to neck/ear scratches. And his head and ears are so soft! This boy is looking for a new and better life with a patient family.
If you are interested in adopting Henley please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.
***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a socially distanced meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
