Meet Duke, a charming one-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound with a heart as big as his beautiful nose. Resilient since his early days at Chloe's Rescue, Duke is a super sweet boy who showers affection on everyone he meets. Despite his warm nature, he has yet to find a permanent home. Currently in a boarding situation due to his foster mom's health, Duke is in need of a loving foster or forever home urgently. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a devoted companion, Duke is the perfect match with his endearing personality and hound-like charm.

Duke absolutely loves to play with toys and other dogs. We are continuing to work at walking on a leash. Duke does need work on housetraining. He knows the “sit” command and “kennel up” command, which he mastered. He’s a really smart boy. Duke really likes being close to humans.

His adoption fee includes 4 sets of puppy vaccinations, a rabies vaccination, neuter, deworming, microchip, heartworm preventative on a monthly basis.
