Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Mabel. This caramel beauty is as sweet as they come!
Mabel makes a devoted companion and gets along remarkably well with the dogs and cat in her foster home. She also enjoys guard dog duties and is protective of her pack and home.
Food is Mable’s absolute greatest obsession and motivator, though access should be monitored. She loves belly rubs and cuddles once you gain her trust.
This adorable gal is best suited in a calm and quiet home with hooman adults and a fenced yard. She is making strides and is growing confident each day. Added bonus if Mable will have a furry sibling to show her the ropes!
To meet the lovely Miss Mable, fill out the online application and a volunteer will respond within a few days.

More about this rescue

Rescue the Underdog is small group of volunteers working in the San Francisco Bay Area. We rescue dogs that would otherwise be euthanized in high kill Central Valley shelters and bring them to the Bay Area where they are placed in loving, lasting homes.
