My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Stella is a beautiful 1 1/2 year old mix who resembles a flat coated retriever. She was found down south along a rural road suffering from a gun shot. A good samaritan took her to a local shelter then she joined BD&CR to finish healing and is now ready for adoption.

Stella was lacking in life experience but is learning about the good life and how to be a dog in her foster home. House training in a work in progress and she gets along well with other dogs. She is very sweet and affectionate and loves giving kisses and cuddling with her people.

Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $300, $350 for puppies under 6 months. All dogs are current on age appropriate vaccines, preventatives and microchipped. Adults are spayed or neutered.
