My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Can you help Chip find her forever home?

Must haves:
XL crate ( I'll be glad to stay there while you're away)
humans that will appreciate my kisses
abundance of toys to choose from ( I'm gentle with them)
someone who will take me to the vet (keeping me UTD on vaccines, as I am currently)
slow feeder bowl & treats - I'm definitely food motivated
0 bathrooms (as I go outside)

Options:
 other dogs and cats
open concept (at least a little to throw toys inside or when I get the zoomies)
deck or yard (I do enjoy being outdoors)
 driver's license because I'm an approved co-pilot
exercise buddy - to take me on walks to prove I'm an excellent leash walker
comfy dog bed (but will be satisfied with the sofa or bed)

I'm a 9 month old submissive bulldog mix weighing 44 lbs. My temporary residence is in New Freedom, PA but curious of what else is out there. I'm shy at first but will quickly warm up and stay by your side. Please complete an application at  pack9rescue.org.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.

See upcoming events below where PA Caring for K9’s will be with some of our adoptable dogs!

Saturday, October 21, 2023 10am-1pm Apple Subaru (1202 Loucks Rd, York, PA 17404)

Please check our Facebook page closer to each event as we will update daily with dogs who will be attending. All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event. Apply today at https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ to become pre-approved.
