Fleur is a petite female Belgian Malinois mix with an estimated birthday of 8/1/22. She was adopted from a local shelter, but the adopter soon realized apartment life wasn't suitable for this active puppy.

Fleur is a sweet dog, but initially shy. She is food motivated and doing well learning her basic commands. She is housebroken and crate trained. She would do well in a home with another confident male dog that will engage Fleur in play. . She plays well with other dogs, as long as there is a slow and proper introduction. She is curious about cats but leaves them alone for the most part. She can be very mouthy but is getting better each day. We do not recommend a household with small children due to her mouthy behavior. Lots of toys will help keep her from chewing items that aren't hers. She is still too young to be trusted alone in the home unless she's in a crate.

She would do best in an active home that participles in regular activities such as running, hiking, biking, etc. We also recommend potential adopters have a crate. She enjoys sleeping in her crate at night. She thrives on a routine and requires structure. Last, she rides quietly in a vehicle but does tend to get car sick.
