My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SWEET SWEET SWEET! Found as a stray dumped in the country. Amazingly, Finn has a great temperament and has been evaluated by an accredited behaviorist. He passed all his tests with flying colors. We are happy to share her evaluation with any prospective family.

Finn is about 3 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, hw negative and microchipped. He is learning about toys in his foster home and how to live inside. Finn LOVES people! He kissed the vet, the tech, and everyone in the waiting room at the vet clinic.

Finn is very smart and catches on quickly to what you are teaching him. He will make a fabulous addition to the right family.

Submit Application

Upon receiving the completed application, our review process generally takes only 1-2 days.

2.
Home Check

We bring the dog to your home for introductions to family members and other pets. We have a 10 day to 14 day trial period.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period the dog may be adopted and the contract signed.

Additional adoption info

We have an adoption application to complete and return. Our review process generally takes 1-2 days. Upon approval we would contact you to arrange a home visit and bring the dog to meet you and your family. (If out of state, we have local groups that would contact you for a home visit without the dog.)

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based 501c3 organization formed in 2002. Over the years, we have rescued dogs from shelters all over the state, we have taken in abandoned dogs and we have accepted dogs from owners who were unable to continue to care for their pets. Thousands of adoptable pets die each year due to overpopulation and lack of options.
