Meet Baby! Baby is a 10 month old female Pug mix. Baby has had a rough start to her young life. She was rescued from a hoarding situation (27 pugs in the home) and the owner surrendered a total of 9 (including Baby) to us. Baby can be shy initially when she meets new people. But once she gets comfortable with a person, she is a lot of fun.

Baby is currently in a foster home. Her foster mom reports, “She has done AMAZING as far as everything. Fantastic on her harness, loves taking walks, she has mastered going in/out a doggy door. Going potty or uses potty pad 95% of the time. She sleeps all night, rarely ever barks. She is sweet with all the neighborhood kids who love to see and pet her. She loves to play with toys. She doesn’t chew on shoes.

My kids absolutely love her however she is only attached to me. She wants almost nothing to do with them unless I am right there holding her or placing her in their arms. She tolerates men petting her, but absolutely hates them holding her- physically jumps out of their arms.

I believe she’d be the perfect fit & most happy being in a home with an older woman who needs a lap dog/companion that can enjoy short walks with her.”
