Tink Tink is a love bug sweetheart that gets along with all dogs she meets, is loving and gentle with people, and just all around a great girl. She had a rough start at the beginning of her life (read story below), but she has been at the rescue for so long and we would love for her to find her forever home like her siblings did.
Tink and her 6 siblings were dropped off after we were called and lied to about the circumstances. They told us they were driving and found 8 puppies and a mom with dried up milk under an abandoned boat. Of course I wasn't going to turn down babies in need so even though we were full I said bring them. As we pull into the rescue, he was getting in his car...he never made eye contact just left. Which at that point I knew something wasn't right. I found out why. He had not brought 8 babies and a mom. He brought 7 babies and no mom at all. Barely 3 weeks old, covered in fleas and ticks and hungry. We had to teach them how to eat and drink from a bowl as they were still so young. They are thriving and some are ready to start looking for their new homes. Some need a couple extra weeks as they are on the smaller side and have some catching up to do! They are we believe a bulldog mix of some kind. Very cute and sweet. They are calm and funny and love to play. They should be around 45 pounds give or take. We are a 501c3 non profit rescue. Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3 All of our dogs have age appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age(we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well, any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability.
Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process!
If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. All adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process!
We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you cam email when you put your app in or wait yhe 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases.
Adoption fees range from $150 to $400
We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in.
We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call or browse our available dogs at sger.petfinder.com You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants.
