I'm retired from mama business! I loved my kiddos, and the adopted ones, but I want a home where I can relax and be loved for me. I was dumped on a dirt road and have never had a chance to learn to trust people, but I'm a sweet girl that’s now learning to trust in a foster home. The humans at the rescue have been amazing with me and have let me learn to trust them on my own time. They tell me what a sweet girl I am and how amazing my puppies are because they take after me. I would do best in a home where I can have some time to adjust because I never lived in a house before my recent foster home so it will be kind of scary for me, but I'm ready to be a couch dog. I learned that I love to go on walks and play with other dogs, but I’m still getting used to the smaller humans in my foster home. They’re growing on me and I like them when we snuggle on the couch. I would love a home where I can keep growing in my trust and get used to being a loved pet.

You must fill out an application for any of our adoptable pets. Your current pets must be utd on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Once we review your application we will contact you regarding any questions we may have, or you may have about the adoption process.
Deposits are required on all dogs/puppies to hold until pickup date. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE.
Your adoption for each dog or puppy includes the following:
Up to date vaccinations, dewormings, hw status (adults only), microchip with lifetime free membership and LOW COST spay and neuter at our vet in Hoboken GA. All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability.
Adults are heartworm tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process!
If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required.
We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases.
Adoption fees range from $150 to $400
We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in.
We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call us. You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants.
