My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazz is a quiet, settled kitty that enjoys spending most of time outside on the screened in area where she can watch everything on and relax in the warm Florida weather. She enjoys the company of volunteers and staff and welcomes their attention and petting. She gets along great with all the other cats in her building and would not mind sharing her forever home with another cat or two. We feel Jazz would be much happier in a quiet, settled home with older children. Come meet Jazz and see for yourself what a lovely, loving kitty she is.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
