My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carl is an easy-going hound dog who just enjoys hanging out with his people. Carl was adopted 2 years ago and is being returned to the rescue due to the arrival of a baby in the family. Carl is a well-socialized, affectionate hound dog; he's housebroken and walks well on a leash; good with other dogs. Carl has some allergies and does take an apoquel dose daily, in addition to medicated baths as needed. He will be bringing along a 6 month supply of his medication and some medicated shampoo that he likes. Carl is about 8 yrs old and weighs about 62 lbs. We are waiving his adoption fee as a special needs dog, but he really requires minimal care. This boy deserves a final Forever Home where he can live out his days with a committed adopter. He's a wonderful companion.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.

Our Adoption Process
