AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - LUCINDA

BREED - Chihuahua/Pug mix
SIZE - About 12 pounds
AGE - 9 years
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Lucinda is a sugar sweet, happy girl who will steal your heart! She came to us recently from a NC shelter partner. She is believed to be 9 years old and is quite overweight. Lucinda loves other dogs and people and would be a wonderful addition to families without small children or larger pets. Other than having weight issues, Lucinda seems to be in great health. She is currently receiving her last vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped as a part of our adoption process. This little gal would be a great choice for a retired adopter who wants a companion couch potato or lap dog!

Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner. More information on our website at www.carerva.com.
