My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cane is a sweetheart who is laid back and easy going; he is so sweet his nickname is “Sugar Cane!” He is brave and calm but may be cowardly for a few days to acclimate to new people and new home. Cane is playful and energetic. He loves yummy food and is crazy for squeezable cat treats. Cane's favorite toy is a feathered clucking chicken that he hunts down and protectively carries around the house showing it off to all his kitty friends, but they can only look on with envy as he won't allow them to touch it until he's played out with it! He also loves catnip and taking cat naps on the couch or Catio (enclosed patio). Cane's ideal home is most any home but would be a great fit for families with children. He has good house manners, is not destructive or devilish and is quite the kitty gentleman. Cane introduces himself to new cats with a hiss and a growl, but he warms up to them quickly, can be friendly and will eventually cozy up with a kitty buddy. Cane will be a good companion with a non-reactive adult cat as he will be the dominant one; he is quite fatherly to kittens! Cane is fine with a cat-friendly dog. He is 1 year old with a harlequin coat pattern. Cane is large, muscular and athletic with a bit of fluff padding his preciousness
