Wesley has a mild temperament free of extreme personality traits. He is not overly affectionate nor terribly skittish. Wesley exudes an air of intelligent laid-back mystique. He gets a kick out of playing in cardboard boxes and gets a charge out of chasing leaves. Wesley rolls over to be petted, does not mind being picked up and held as long as you have the muscles to hold this big boy! He tolerates combing and nail trims pretty well! Wesley does not enjoy riding in a vehicle. He is reserved and bashful in a new environment. Wesley's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. It is unknown how he will interact with other cats and dogs. Wesley is a 6-year-old American Shorthair with a rusting black coat. He is large, weighing in at 14 pounds!
Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
