Rascal Jimmy, estimated to be 5 yrs old and weighing about 8 lbs, is exceptionally sweet, absolutely loves to be on your lap and is a wonderful companion dog. He is confident, inquisitive, and quickly adapts to his surroundings. He is fine with other small dogs but does not interact much with them. He has a calm, submissive demeanor.
Rascal Jimmy came to the Humane Society with an eye injury and sadly lost it as a result. If it is possible, it has made him even more adorable! Because his eye is still healing and can be sensitive, he would do best in a home without small children or large dogs. He is still adjusting and occasionally takes a corner too closely, but otherwise, it hasn’t slowed him down from loving life.
He would do best as an only dog with a retired person or couple that will lavish him with love and have him with them most of the time. If left alone, he may bark and cry, so a condo or apartment would not be a good home for him.
