Meet Coco! He's a 60lb love bug who wants a family of his own to spoil with kisses! This 4-year-old Lab mix would enjoy an active household and would make a great hiking and adventure partner. He's housetrained, the sweetest boy around, and so stinkin' cute! He also knows how to sit. Coco would prefer a home without children or other pets so he can be your one and only baby!

Upon adoption of either a cat or dog, adoption fees do vary. All adoption fees include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. The mission of the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri is to aid in the alleviation of distress and suffering of animals by operating a shelter in need of care, placing animals in suitable homes, and offering educational programs that promote animal welfare.

We receive our animals from people giving up their pets for a variety of reasons, including changes in family situations and moving. Some of our animals have been strays rescued from the streets by a kind citizen, but all of our animals are looking for permanent, loving forever homes.
