Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hanna is a sweet baby that adores her people and plays very well with her in home dog friends. She is not a fan of cats. She is about 30lbs and 2 years old.
Hanna is house broken and crate trained. She even goes in her crate on her own and takes naps. She takes a few minutes to scope out a new environment but warms when she feels comfortable. Hanna is learning what a treat is and loving them. She has medium to high energy so she wants an active family and a home with secure fenced yard - no townhomes please.
Hanna would thrive as the only dog in the home but with proper intros, could live with a tolerant and playful dog.
Hanna also rides well in the car and would do fine with older, respectful children in the home.
Available Tampa, FL and surrounding counties
Adoption Donation $250

Second Chance” is not a second chance for dogs, because that would presume they had a first chance and failed. The majority of the dogs we rescue never had any chances, first, second, or otherwise. The name of our rescue refers to giving humans a second chance to provide a safe, healthy, and loving home and environment for our dogs, since most of these dogs come to us after they have been abused or neglected by their owners.
SCF solely relies on volunteers to get the work done and no one receives compensation for their work. SCF receives no funding from the government or the United Way. Our adoption fees and donations from other dog lovers cover our costs.
