Here's a sweet girl who's ready for a new life. Clara is gentle and calm and can be tentative in new situations. For some dogs, going through the shelter experience, followed by transport, boarding, vetting, etc, is pretty unsettling. With a little patience, she'll learn to trust and will blossom into a nice hound companion. Clara may be Belle's mother, they were at the rural Virginia shelter together. Clara is estimated to be 6 - 7 yrs old and weighs about 50 lbs. Arriving in Massachusetts in June.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.

Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
