Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Victor was picked up as a stray who was never claimed, as is so often the case for Huskies. Due to their intelligence and work ethic, Huskies are a higher maintenance breed many people don't consider prior to bringing home.

Victor, like many of his breed, is a happy guy who is eager to please. He is always looking for his next adventure!

The ideal home for him would be experienced with the breed, or at least have the time and dedication he would require. Victor interacts well with other dogs, but will defend himself if he senses the need to. He has more of an "i'm ok if you're ok" attitude (according to the trainer who worked with him one day).

He would not be a good fit in a home with cats or other small animals. He isn't aggressive, but Huskies often have a natural prey drive typical of a working breed dog. He may be too active for small kids too.

Victor would be a great companion animal for someone who already has an active lifestyle. He'd love a hiker, but maybe not a runner as he tends to zigzag a bit. :) That's due to his need to explore though! He is an intelligent dog who needs a home able to keep him mentally stimulated.

Victor is estimated to be between 2-4 years old and is now neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative (on prevention too). He will use the bathroom outside if given the choice.

Previous (adult) breed experience may be required to process application.
