My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Heyyyy! It’s Cooper! I’m new around here and am pleased to meet you. I’m an American Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer mix and just as handsome as they come.

I’m 50 lbs but when I am fully grown up I will be the perfect large size pupper, around 60 to 70 lbs. I am only 9 months old right now. But I will be just perfect to do everything with, go hiking, walking, maybe even running if you teach me, and gosh, I would love to explore the water everywhere because that is just so much fun.

My foster Mom says she is so proud of me because I am house-trained now. I am not so fond of crates yet but I am working on it. Well, they are pretty awesome places to take naps in while everybody in the home has to run out and do stuff. But I don’t like being in it for too long. I am afraid my humans won’t come back and I may panic. So if someone is home most of the time would be just so AWESOME!

I like kids as long as they respect me and don’t think I am a stuffie toy. I get excited meeting new people, and other dogs of course, but they better be nice to me!
I have enjoyed playing with bigger dogs, boys and girls, but I think little dogs are a fun toy and I want to chase them. So a home without cats and little dogs is a must for me so we all can be a happy family.

I LOVE to have fun, and that includes having fun with other canines! I’d love a fur brother or sister, but I will be just fine as the only dog in the home. We could have fun all day!
I hope you like walks, hikes, and the outdoors as much as I do. I need that exercise to be truly happy.

My foster Mom said I make her proud because I am learning so much. She said whoever is lucky enough to bring me home also gets ½ off a 7-week virtual obedience training class with Tecla Walton of University of Dog and they get two free one-on-one sessions to help me get settled in with my new family.

I am already micro-chipped, lost my jewels (whatever that means) and got all my vaccines and on heartworm, flea and tick preventatives.

Hey, if you’d like to meet me just send an email to NeedfulSoulsDogRescue@gmail.com and request an adoption application. I promise, you won’t regret it because I will be your bestest boy you ever had. As long as you keep working with me, I will make you real proud. I sure would love to have my own forever hoomans that will love me forever.
