Topper is a very special boy who despite terrible odds, has survived all obstacles to become a wonderful, fun loving guy. He is pretty young, maybe around a year old, and we have attached the DNA test his foster mom completed on him with the many breeds that make him up :)

Topper was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in very poor health. He still has some small residual left from his former days, but has the best attitude of any dog ever! He loves life, he loves to play and will need a home with a playful friend. He loves walks and is a very good walker. He doesn’t pull or bark. He loves everyone he meets and loves to trot around and has earned the nickname is “Topper the hopper.” He chases cats, but only because he wants to play. He would play 24/7 if you let him! He is a little nervous in most new situations, but warms up quickly. He would do best with older children since his clumsiness and desire to play might be too much for young kids.
