Meet Fred! This approximately 2 year old Lab mix came to us after being surrendered to a local shelter. Our friends at Bark Barn Kennels offered to foster him and do some board and train with Tim, their trainer, so he has been staying with them since being taken out of the shelter! He is a sweetheart of a dog who loves to please people and has picked up very quickly to all of the training he's received so far!
Fred came into the foster care very nervous, but has blossomed since being out of the shelter! He's a generally goofy guy who can play roughly with other dogs, but is really enjoys it and has done much better at taking corrections since having some training. He was cat tested at the shelter and was mostly scared of them, but we can retest if needed to see if anything has changed there. Because of his size and being a work in progress manners wise, we would suggest older kids at this time.
Fred's adoption fee is $250 and he comes fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He also has tested negative for HW disease and is on prevention. If you are interested in meeting him, please visit www.helpingpawsonline.com/adoption-application and apply today!

Helping Paws is a foster based rescue that does not have a facility to house our adoptables. We believe they are better off in a loving foster home while they wait for their forever family. If interested, please fill out an application, and we will set up a time to schedule a meet and greet for you and the animal.
