This young guy and his brother Nixon were abandoned at a rural property. He is very skittish and took a long time to trust his foster momma, He is gradually becomong more comfortable with touch and seems to enjoy the contact if it's slow and easy, and is trying hard to overcome his fear of humans so will need a quiet, gentle home to blossom in. He really loves Nixon and often looks to him for guidance and securtiy, and would enjoy going to a home with him. He is playful and they can always be found wrestling! He is up to date with his vaccines, flea treated and dewormed, FIV/FeLV negative and has been neutered.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
