My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application.

Please take a look at sweet Ellie's face.

She is 5 years old. No-one else stepped up for this girl - she has been saved from being euthanized.

Her owner could no longer afford to keep her. Ellie has one medical condition, she has epilepsy.  We believe that it may have been brought on at the age of 2 months when she was spayed and died on the operating table, before being revived!

Ellie is good with other dogs and she loves cats. House trained.  An excellent leash walker, although she can be a little stubborn!!  She loves to sunbathe. She is a mellow, easy-going girl.  She already has a frosty face and not a mean bone in her body.

We hope to find a forever home that can treat her and is familiar with seizures or a foster/hospice
home.

She is having a seizure approximately once every 3 weeks. Ellie takes medications plus CBD oil to help with seizures.

Her ideal home would be a person or family that is home more often than not.schedule. Due to a lifetime of seizures, sweet Ellie has lost a little of her ability to control urine. She has no problem wearing doggy diapers if the need arises. In a new environment, for the first day or so, she will be unsettled and pace a lot.
We will continue to provide her seizure medications when she is in her forever home.
