Siria was one of 20+ cats who had been living in a home before they were all evicted out into an alley to fend for themselves. A volunteer who regularly feeds homeless cats learned of the situation and started to help them out. Siria moved into The Rescue House and quickly charmed her foster mom.
What is Siria's favorite pastime? Snuggling up beside you, of course! This affectionate sweetheart loves nothing more than curling up on the bed or under a cozy blanket, purring contently as she shares in the warmth of your company. But don't let her love of cuddles fool you: when it's playtime, Siria is in her element! She has boundless energy and a mischievous spirit, and she'll pounce and leap with the grace of a dancer. She'll keep you entertained for hours on end and her favorite toy is a tiny mouse that she bats around with frisky abandon. Siria craves all sorts of human interaction and is eager to be by your side throughout the day. She'll greet you with joyful meows and gentle headbutts, following you around and offering her companionship and unwavering support. Whether you've just exited the bathroom (forget privacy) or are returning home after a long day, Siria will be there with a warm welcome. While she likes to keep her paws under her own control and not be picked up too much, Siria's loyalty and affection knows no bounds.
Siria is comfortable with other cats though also does well solo as she is very human focused. We have not seen her around dogs or children, though with a proper introduction and gentle handling we suspect that Siria could adapt to most households.
