My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loving Dusky is a black beauty. She was born in January of 2023 and weighed 23 lbs at the end of May. This friendly girl likes to play, especially with her sister, Shady. She really likes to be with people and is happy to accompany you on long walks and explore the world together. Dusky likes water and eagerly jumps into her doggy pool on hot days. She has plenty of energy and would love to be a family's playmate. Dusky is full of love and eager to find a forever home where she will be appreciated.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
