Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cassiopeia (Cassie) is a flame point Siamese (mix) beauty with a perfect tabby M. She is the most affectionate and loving cat. She enjoys a good lap, head and butt pets, sunbathing and any activity her person is involved in. She will be your best friend and shadow. She was an excellent mom to her five boys.
Five boys, yes and now she is ready to be Queen of her domain. Before she had her kittens she was fine with the fosters' resident cats, but now she does not like them. We feel she would do best as an only cat. Slow introduction to a respectful dog would probably be acceptable to Queen Cassie.
Cassie has been vaccinated (including rabies) and tested negative for FIV/FELV. We are not first come/first serve. We want to find the purrfect home for Cassie.
$100 adoption fee per cat.
Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
Please fill out an application, 2023 Adoption Application - Google Forms
or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information. Since we deliver our kitties to their new home, you must live within an hour of Silverton, Oregon.
We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.
The $100adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
