My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey is a handsome 13 year old boy (born 9/15/2010) who is a little on the chunky side. He currently weighs about 16 pounds which is down from about 20 pounds a year ago which is a great accomplishment but he will benefit from losing a few more pounds.

Smokey has beautiful green eyes and a very cute brown nose and white tipped paws. He is front declawed and is a very sweet and loving cat. He is looking for a new home because his human mom had to move to a care facility and he cannot follow her there unfortunately.

Smokey loves to sit on laps, sleep on your bed and watch carefully out the windows. He also likes to rub up against your legs to claim you and he has a great purr. He has never lived with a dog but he lived with another cat for many years and they did very well with each other so with a proper introduction to another cat it seems like he would do just fine with them as well. He may be a little timid at first but once he gets to know you, he will be a loving companion.
