AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - FANCY
BREED - Terrier mix
SIZE - About 30 pounds
AGE - 10 years
GENDER - Female
MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known
BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Fancy is a sugar sweet girl who has clearly had a rough life. Her teeth are severely worn down but not her spirit! She is anxious to give and receive love and is such a joy to be around! Fancy is thought to be about 10 years old, and is a lowrider who we think is part Cairn terrier. She would make a great addition to most homes and would be a great companion to an older adult who loves dogs. We are seeking a home for Fancy without small children or small animals, with a securely fenced yard, and with an adopter who has a warm and open heart. The lucky person who adopts Fancy will gain so much love and joy! Fancy is spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccines.
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
