My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Griz had his wellness exam. He is estimated to be around 13, he has a lot of muscle loss more in his shoulders than his hips. His teeth are worn down but otherwise ok and no need to pull any, thank goodness! He can see pretty well and still has his hearing. He is a wonderful senior. Zero reactivity while at the vets with people, loves other dogs and even tolerated a nail trim with no issues. While he is still intact, at his age it's not worth going under anesthesia for.
Griz still has some great years ahead of him, if someone is looking for a senior to give a warm bed in the winter, a dry bed in the rain, a bug free place to lay his head in the summer and give him for the first time in his life, a life off the chain. Griz can be free to roam in the house. He does excellent by himself. He is using a dog door to go potty. He only barks when it's breakfast/dinner time. He is an absolutely amazing boy. Such as easy keeper.
please fill out an application found on the rescue's website at Agsrescue.com.

Griz is now on Gabapentin, CBD oil and some joint supplements. I've added some supplements to the rescue's wishlist if you like to help support Griz https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/M7MKBADU9EZT?ref_=wl_share

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

This is to become an approved adopter. Not for any one dog. Applications are found on the rescue's website at agsrescue.com

We MAY need a letter from the landlord allowing a pet, photos where the pet will be spending their time. This is in lieu of the home visit.

3.

Approve Application

You will receive an email 24 to 48 hours after all information has been sent to the rescue with an approval, denial or request for more info

4.

Meet the Pet

Not all the dogs are in one place so you will be asked which dog you are interested in, if you are a match a visit will be arranged

5.

Take the Pet Home

If the visit goes well and we all agree to move forward, you will take the dog home for a 24 hour visit.

6.
