Meet Gus and Luella or better known as Lulu. We are brother and sister. Gus weighs 22lbs. and Lulu weighs 21 lbs. We are house trained and create trained. They are such loving furbabies. They love attention. I have them trained to when it's 8p:m they get their treat and run to their kennel and go to bed. They do love their treats. They belonged to my Grand daughter but she moved to Alabama and couldn't take them with her. As much as I hate it, I'm physically or financially able to care for them. My wish is for them to stay together if at all possible. They are so attached to each other. Even when they lay down, they have to be touching each other. They are 10 months old and full of energy. They also have both been fixed and are up to date on their shots. They are doing so well about listening. They are very smart.
Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.
Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else.
We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.

We are 100% volunteer powered. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.

Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip.
Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.
Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
