Our Adoption Process

We want the adoption process to be as smooth and transparent as possible while making sure each pet is matched with the right forever home.

Submit an Application
Request an adoption application and return the completed form to us by email.

Application Review & Discussion
Once we receive your application, we’ll review it and connect with you to discuss any questions or concerns either of us may have. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and make sure the adoption is a good fit for both you and the pet.

References & Home Check
We will contact your veterinarian for a reference or request an alternate reference if needed. A home check may also be conducted as part of the approval process.

Adoption Approval & Transport
Once everything has been approved, we’ll finalize the adoption and schedule your pet for the next available transport.

Our Commitment to You

Our relationship doesn’t end when your pet arrives home. We are always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and support our adoptive families throughout the transition and beyond.

If, for any reason, an adoption does not work out, we will gladly take the animal back. Our priority is always the well-being and safety of the pet.

Go meet their pets

If you are interested in one of our pets, please contact us at: 870-577-3744. We work with families throughout the northeast, focusing on New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maine, and Vermont. We also adopt to Maryland, Virginia, and any state that we have someone interested in one of our pets.

More about this rescue

We are committed to helping abandoned, neglected and abused pets, finding loving homes and
educating the public about responsible pet ownership with a strong emphasis on spaying and neutering. .
We are a virtual shelter, meaning all of our pets are pulled from over crowded shelters and animal control facilities, who due to lack of space and overwhelming volume are forced to euthanize thousands of healthy, adoptable pets each year. We will also accept pets from owners who can no longer care for their pet. When the animal enters our program, they undergo a complete health check from a local vet to make sure the pet is healthy. The pet is treated for any medical needs, is brought up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. The pet is then socialized and assessed by our behaviorist. When the animal has been determined healthy and socialized, it is placed for adoption.
