The Ferndale Cat Shelter places cats and kittens from our community into loving furever homes. Please visit our website to learn more about our process and why we do things differently than other rescues. When you adopt from FCS you join our family!
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.
- Meet the Pet
- Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.
- Approve Application
- The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!
Go meet their pets
At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
