My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody and Molly are a sweet bonded pair who came to us after their mom passed away. They are kind, considerate and gentle little lambs.
Cody is 28 lbs (needs to lose some weight!) and Molly is 13 lbs. Cody is 17 years young and Molly is 18 years young.
They've been indoor dogs for a long time with little to no outdoor time and they're happy to enjoy the great outdoors, especially when it's sunny!
These two really are the sweetest pair of buddies they look forward to spending forever and ever together.
Cody came to us with bladder stones, had surgery and is now on a special diet to help prevent this from occurring again.
Molly and Cody are a very sweet pair who don't ask for much, just a loving, warm and cozy home where they get to enjoy indoor and outdoor sunshine time together.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

To adopt a dog from Tails of Gray, you must:

1. Complete an online application for adoption.
2. Meet your prospective pet. If your application to adopt is approved, our adoption coordinators will schedule a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
3. Complete a home visit. If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
4. Finalize the adoption. After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

The adoption fee is $200

More about this rescue

Tails of Gray is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization that offers a safe and loving sanctuary for senior dogs regardless of breed, health or ease of placement. Our goal is to prevent needless euthanasia through the offering of shelter, adoption, foster, hospice and education.
All Tails of Gray senior dogs are spayed and neutered, microchipped and receive appropriate veterinary care and treatment.
Tails of Gray welcomes the unwanted and heals the sick. Those precious senior dogs who cannot be healed will spend their final days in a comfortable environment where they experience unconditional love, some for the first time.
