Meet Goofy, the ultimate cuddle buddy! This one-year-old sweetheart is currently living in foster care with two canine companions, and they have become his best buddies. Goofy is a master of relaxation and can often be found lounging on the couch. He can be a little shy at first, but once he warms up he will be asking for head scratches and cuddling up! When he isn't napping he loves to play, toys, balls and boxes are his favorite. It's important to note that Goofy has juvenile diabetes and gingivitis, but that doesn't let him stop him! This brave little guy takes his daily insulin shots and tooth brushings like a champ. If you're seeking a cuddly companion who will brighten your days with affection and charm, look no further than Goofy. Give this sweet-hearted feline the forever home he deserves, and he'll fill your life with endless love and joy.

Founded by Vivian Goldbloom in 2013, Emerald City Pet Rescue exists to rescue abused, neglected, and homeless animals from high-volume shelters around the country.

We pride ourselves on providing the best medical care possible for our rescued animals and rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals to help them increase their chances of finding loving homes.

Our screening process includes meet and greets, reference checks, and a visit to the potential owner’s home to ensure the home and family are compatible with the pet’s needs and our requirements. We do everything we can to ensure that loving homes are found for these amazing pets.

Emerald City Pet Rescue is run by dedicated staff and volunteers who give their time and resources to house, train, rehabilitate, and care for our animals. Above all else, we truly believe that Love Can Save Lives.
