Brooklyn, NY - Meet Samson, a lovable little bundle of excitement! This two year old 40 lb. handsome boy was found wandering the streets of Brooklyn and was taken to the city shelter, where he was lucky enough to be noticed by an awesome foster for AmsterDog, who now is taking good care of him and teaching him new things. She tells us, “Sampson loves fetch and long walks and would be perfect for an active person. However, he’s just as happy napping or munching on his bone at his favorite person’s feet. He’s even figured out that tennis balls are bouncy enough for him to play fetch on his own when no one else has time to play! He’s house trained and excellent when left alone, never barking excessively or chewing on anything he shouldn’t. He’s still working on leash etiquette and will need patience, praise and treats to help him stay calm when crossing paths with other dogs, small animals, or people on bikes or scooters, but if you’re willing to be patient and gentle with him, this adorable little boy will return all your love and then some.
