Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Who’s a pretty girl?! Me, of course. If you haven’t met me yet, you are certainly missing out. Sadly, my brother and I were dumped on the streets of Olmos Park one day, but we were lucky enough to be rescued by some friends of SNIPSA. I really cannot fathom why anyone would dump any canine, especially one as perfect as me. Despite the unfortunate circumstances that I’ve had to face, I haven’t let them get me down! Clearly, I adjust well to new situations. I’m a friend to everyone I meet, from humans of all sizes to dogs and cats too. I also walk well on my leash and I’ll do ANYTHING for a treat. Did I also mention that I’m 100% potty trained? My #1 priority is cuddling, but I also have plenty of energy to spend if you enjoy going on adventures! The humans seem to think I’m a Collie Mix, which would make lots of sense if you take into consideration my intelligence and eager-to-please attitude. So, as you can see, I would make a wonderful family companion. All I need is continued training, exercise and LOTS of love to thrive in my new home. If you’re looking for a well-rounded companion with loyalty beyond belief, submit an application to meet me today!
Despite her unsteady past, Mabel is incredibly easygoing and gets along with everyone she meets. Long past the puppy stage, she's also learned a few manners in her foster home. She has just about mastered her potty training, she walks well on her leash, and she will do anything for treats. And though this girl doesn't mind being in her crate, she's happiest as long as she is by your side! Per her foster, Mabel's #1 priority is cuddling, but she can also have bursts of energy from time to time. She has an adventurous spirit and will gladly join you on all of your outdoor escapades. Some of her favorite activities are romping around the yard, swimming, taking long snoozes on the couch, watching birds through the window and waiting patiently for kitchen scraps. Given her social nature, we think Mabel would make the ideal dog for a family with children or other pets. So, if you're looking for a well-rounded, young dog with tons of love to give, apply to meet her!
