My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Contact foster at evafedor.dest@gmail.com

Bucky is a 2½-year-old neutered male with a striking brindle coat and a heart full of love. This handsome boy is extremely affectionate—he’ll melt into your lap, soak up belly rubs, and shower you with cuddles. Energetic and happy-go-lucky, Bucky thrives on stimulation and would do best with a yard to play in or an active family ready for hikes and adventures. His joyful little hops when excited are downright adorable, and he’s always eager to be part of the fun.

Smart and eager to please, Bucky already knows sit, stay, shake, and recall, and has recently learned to lie down for treats. He’s treat-motivated, making training a breeze. Friendly with dogs his size, Bucky enjoys roughhousing play and has had positive leashed interactions. He’s crate-trained, rides calmly in the car, and will happily snooze to music. Recently, he even discovered his tail—now one of his favorite toys!

Originally adopted over a year ago, Bucky was returned through no fault of his own. It’s clear he’s been in a loving home—he’s well-adjusted, people-oriented, and ready to be part of a family again. His love language is a mix of treats and affection, and he’s always up for quality time with his humans.

If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and affectionate best friend, Bucky might just be the perfect fit.
