My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Silas – Your Energetic Snuggle Buddy!
In the shelter since May – ready for his forever home!

If you`re looking for a loyal companion who brings the perfect mix of energy and affection, look no further than Silas. This handsome pup is full of life and loves his playtime—especially when toys are involved. But don`t let his playful spirit fool you—he’s just as happy to curl up next to you for a good snuggle session.

Why You`ll Love Him:
• Potty trained
• Rarely barks – he`s a quiet, respectful roommate
• Crate trained and settles in like a pro but also non-destructive when left out alone
• Food motivated and eager to please
• Takes treats gently and already knows sit, down, stay, and paw
• Enjoys walks and is non-reactive on leash – a harness is recommended since he’s strong but very manageable
• Loves toys more than anything
• Would make an excellent running or hiking buddy
• Kid-friendly, does well with foster`s infant
• Dog friendly, but slow intros always recommended

Silas is a smart boy who thrives on routine and gentle guidance. He does have a curious side (watch out for a bit of counter surfing!) and he gets excited meeting new people, but he responds well to redirection.
