Baby is a Yellow Lab mix, fully vaccinated and Heartworm negative. She is now spayed and ready for adoption. This beautiful girl was a stray and a good Samaritan took care of her for several months. He searched for a no kill shelter but we were the only rescue that gave this girl any hope. She is a sweet girl, transitioning well and already gives kisses. She lived with other dogs and the man said she would love to have a 12 yr old boy to play with. She has been an outdoor dog but we hope to find her a loving him, indoors and a family that promises forever. She currently lives with Scout but has also lived with an adult female. She is a sweet dog that is dog friendly and people friendly. She has shorter legs than a typical lab....may has some dachshund or Basset in her? We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
