My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunshine came to us through a small breed rescue. One of their fosters found her dumped and confused on the side of a busy road. She is a Yellow Labrador/possible Golden Retriever mix. She is about 6 years old and gorgeous! Sunshine is fully vetted, crate trained and house trained. She prefers a doggy playmate around her size but loves people. She loves to walk and deserves to start her life again with a loving family. Sunshine is ready to be your new best friend!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We have a simple contract ensuring that our rescue will be well taken care of, medically and physically, will never be tied or chained, and that a secure fenced area is provided for outdoor play. We want for each a loving home and to become part of a family. Every animal is up to date on shots and spay/neuter is required.

Go meet their pets

We are open 7 days a week by appointment. Weekends are preferred. Come see our waggin' tails and happy faces on 22 acres with large runs and a 5 acre play area. Email to ask for directions and to make an appt.

More about this shelter

We started rescuing dogs in 2001 and became a non profit animal rescue in 2006 out of the sheer need to save animals from the streets, and pick up the ones dropped at our doorstep. We promote spay/neuter, and last year found forever homes for 129 animals from our location, and adopted over 400 through off site adoption..
