My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cliff was saved from a rural shelter north of Los Angeles. He was a staff favorite and came in as a stray.
He is currently 98 pounds but he’s still underweight. We estimate he will be around 110lbs once he puts some more muscle on.

He is great with everyone but he doesn’t know his size, so older kids might be best.

His foster family said that he is extremely playful (not hyper-just a young, happy dog), affectionate and wants to be where you are.

The application is the first step to see if you are potentially the right match for the animal of interest.This is not a guarantee/commitment of adoption. Our adoption process involves a home check, adoption contract & adoption fee of $400-600 for dogs depending on breed/age and $125 for cats. Adoption fees are non-refundable. Fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, de-wormer & microchip.

LA Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue.

Established in late 2010, LAAR has helped save thousands of lives.

We currently care for over 200 domestic and farm animals between our rescue ranch and foster network. Each year hundreds of homeless and abandoned animals receive health care and are re-homed through LAAR. We are a small grassroots no-kill animal rescue that runs solely on donations and volunteers.
