My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tyler was adopted about a year ago but recently came back to us do to a break-up and the living situation was not ideal for him.

He’s a very loyal little dude. He is a bit shy.

He originally came to us when we pulled him, his siblings (3) and mom Penny (also available for adoption) from a city shelter when they were newborns. Mom was found as a stray and gave birth in the shelter. :(

The application is the first step to see if you are potentially the right match for the animal of interest.This is not a guarantee/commitment of adoption. Our adoption process involves a home check, adoption contract & adoption fee of $400-600 for dogs depending on breed/age and $125 for cats. Adoption fees are non-refundable. Fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, de-wormer & microchip.

LA Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue.

Established in late 2010, LAAR has helped save thousands of lives.

We currently care for over 200 domestic and farm animals between our rescue ranch and foster network. Each year hundreds of homeless and abandoned animals receive health care and are re-homed through LAAR. We are a small grassroots no-kill animal rescue that runs solely on donations and volunteers.
